ORTE's CCWDM, Based on thin-film filter, uses free space technology to fabricate and transmit optical signals by using an independent sealed space., which is much smaller in size than standard CWDM and lower lower insertion loss and better consistency.
CCWDM is Compact CWDM (Compact Coarse wavelength Division Multiplexing), which is based on TFF(thin film filter). It works in the same way as CWDM. The difference is that CCWDM uses free space technology, and the package size is greatly reduced compared to CWDM. Moreover, the insertion loss is lower and the consistency is better. It can replace CWDM products used in telecom, enterprise network, PON network, cable TV and other fields. The low insertion loss enables the CCWDM module to operate with low signal attenuation, thus reducing the power requirements of the signal transmitter.
CWDM optical module is an optical module that uses CWDM technology to connect existing network devices to a CWDM multiplexer/demultiplexer.
